Independent management consultant · Copenhagen
Programmes that land. Decisions your steering group can stand behind.
Management consulting, programme leadership and interim technology leadership for CIOs and sponsors in Nordic enterprise and the public sector — from someone who has run the gate himself.

Organisations I have led work in
Work
Six shapes. Each scoped before it starts.
How I help
Fixed scope
Programme review
An independent read on whether a programme will land, while there is still time to change it.
2–3 weeks · written report + readout Findings, risks, and what I would change
Interim
Interim programme leadership
Take over a programme that has stalled, or start one that cannot afford to. I run it until it is safe to hand back.
3–4 days per week · 3–12 months The full seat, handover built in
Fractional
Fractional technology leadership
Strategic direction and technical governance without a full-time hire. For organisations between CTOs.
1–2 days per week · 6–12 months Monthly strategic reviews · handover built in
Fixed scope
Governance & PMO design
Portfolio governance and a PMO that people actually use, because every part of it passes one test: does this help projects succeed?
4–8 weeks · design + first cycle Forums · cadence · reporting that gets read
Fixed scope
AI readiness & use-case portfolio
Where you actually stand, a prioritised use-case portfolio, and an honest answer on what your governance will carry.
2–4 weeks · assessment + executive readout Scorecard · prioritised use-case map · 90-day roadmap
Speaking
Keynotes & board briefings
A session your leadership team leaves with a decision from, not a slide deck. Transformation, programme leadership, and AI in the real organisation.
45–90 min · keynote, board or leadership session Danish or English
“He told the steering group what it did not want to hear, then showed us how to get through the gate anyway. The programme landed.”
- Pricing
- Fixed price for reviews, assessments and talks; a day rate for interim work; monthly for fractional roles. You get a number in the first conversation, and it does not move.
- Organisations
- Nordic, roughly 500 to 25,000 people. Particular depth in regulated industries and the public sector.
- On-site or remote
- On-site for the first weeks, to read the culture, then a hybrid rhythm. Based in Copenhagen, travelling across the Nordics.
About
In brief
I started in journalism and visual ethnography — working out how people actually behave rather than how they say they do. It is still the first thing I look at when a programme is stuck. The delivery discipline came later and deliberately: PRINCE2, SAFe, portfolio governance, PMO at Københavns Kommune, programme leadership at Merkle and Devoteam.
Most of my work sits between the strategy deck and the delivery team: the part where something has to get funded, get past governance, and get used. Increasingly that something involves AI. The problem is rarely the technology.
Currently Digital Project Lead at Mediq · PRINCE2 7 Practitioner, PSM II · MSc IT Leadership (ITU)
Full background → · I also co-founded Applied Futures, which does AI enablement and leadership coaching — a separate company, a different job.
